Well, the results for the Michigan 13th Congressional District could not get much tighter. I’m guessing that Kilpatrick WILL maintain her lead, since Detroit is often the last one to have precincts come in, and this is where her support will be the strongest, but this is by no means a call for who will win – it’s still WAY too close. Here are the results as of 12:15 A.M. EDT with 244/343 (71%) precincts reporting:
- Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick 16,406 38%
- Mary Waters 16,295 38%
- Martha Scott 10,589 24%
Like I said, Scott should’ve dropped out if she really wanted Cheeky K. out of office.
