President Bush Breaks Down While Presenting Medal of Honor to Slain Navy SEAL’s Parents

I just wanted to show this, for all of the people who say that President Bush went to war just for the heck of it.  You can see his emotions in this video, and although I don’t agree that going to war was the right decision, I think the President deserves some slack.  Here’s the video:

Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor, a 25-year-old Navy SEAL, died in a section of Al Qaeda controlled Ramadi, Iraq, during a firefight on Sept 29th, 2006, when he threw himself on an insurgent’s grenade to protect his comrades.  His parents, George and Sally, accepted the Medal of Honor on his behalf.

These men and women sacrifice a lot, and they deserve honor.

Done Honoring,

Ranting Republican
