Alright, I’m ready to make a call, for Obama as the winner. Here are the results of the Texas Democratic county / senate district conventions results as of 9:00 P.M. EDT (8:00 P.M. local time), with 81/284 conventions reporting (28.52%) and 2,789/7,649 delegates awarded (36.46%) (note – I had made a mistake earlier and didn’t include the 351 superdelegates that go to the state convention, but the totals I have been giving include some of the superdelegates, so the number of 7,298 that I gave before and hte percentage of delegates was incorrect). Obama has continued to retain the lead that he’s had for the last couple of hours. By now, most all of the conventions SHOULD be done with, but I’m not positive, due to some traffic problems earlier in the day:
Obama 1,629 58.41%
Clinton 1,160 41.59%
Again, I have called it for Obama – I’m confident that he will retain the lead.
