Predictions for the Hawaii, Washington, & Wisconsin Elections

Today, the Democrats have their primary in Hawaii, and both parties will have primaries in Washington and Wisconsin.

For Hawaii, I predict:

  1. Obama 74%
  2. Clinton 23%
  3. Others 3%

That would give Obama 20 of Hawaii’s 29 delegates (20 will be awarded as a result of the caucuses today).

Here’s my prediction for the primary in Washington for the Republicans:

  1. McCain 63%
  2. Huckabee 27%
  3. Paul 7%
  4. Romney 2%
  5. Others 1%

There are a 19 of Washington’s 40 delegates up for grabs tomorrow, and they will be awarded by Winner Take All by Congressional district + proportionally statewide, so Huckabee and Paul should pick up some delegates as well.

Washington Democrats:

  1. Obama 54%
  2. Clinton 44%
  3. Others 2%

No delegates will be awarded here – this is just an advisory of “beauty contest” primary.

Wisconsin Republican primary:

  1. McCain 52%
  2. Huckabee 32%
  3. Paul 11%
  4. Romney 4%
  5. Others 1%

All 40 delegates will be awarded today, with the traditional (at least on the Republican side) Winner Take All by District and statewide, so Huckabee MIGHT be able to squeeze out a delegate or 2.

Wisconsin Democratic primary:

  1. Obama 57%
  2. Clinton 41%
  3. Others 2%

74 of the 92 delegates are up for grabs with the traditional Democratic method of a proportional primary.

I’ll have updates as they come in – so remember to check back here tonight!
