Rudy Giuliani Has Dropped out of the Presidential Race

OK, well it was rumored on Tuesday night after his 3rd place in Florida that this was going to happen, and yesterday Rudy Giuliani officially dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination and endorsed John McCain.

We knew it was going to happen, but I thought he’d wait until after Super Tuesday.  Then again, since the polls show him loosing his home state, I guess that would’ve been pretty humiliating, so I can understand why he dropped out.

Hopefully Romney can pull through and win California and some other Super Tuesday states, but it’s not looking good at this point.

I’ll have the final results from Florida up later today with a delegate count.

    Maybe you should save the next rant for yourself for not doing your own homework in finding out what an idiot Rudolph clearly is;

    Guliani is a fine man and so is McCain. I find that they are both flawed, but it’s looking more and more like a McCain/Guliani ticket. Can they break the trend of the past 30 years and win without the conservative base? Both Ford and Dole tried and failed.

    I like Romney more than McCain, but Romney doesn’t come across as a very likable guy. He kind of reminds me of Gore in that regard.

    However, like you, I will support and vote for whomever is the republican candidate, as I think we all should. The alternative could prove catastrophic.

    Winghunter, you make it sound like I supported and liked Romney. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

    I will not vote for a social liberal. Luckily the party didn’t support him.
