Well, here’s a move I honestly didn’t expect to see. Good old Duncan Hunter decided to endorse somebody after dropping out of the 2008 Republican Presidential race. I really didn’t think that he would since he’s most like Tancredo who dropped out as well. I thought MAYBE Thompson, but Thompson didn’t have a shot. So my next guess was Romney – the most all around conservative. Instead, he went with his social conservative side and endorsed Huckabee. What does this do for Huckabee? Nothing – Huckabee doesn’t have enough support in California, the only state where Hunter would be of marginal help. The only person Hunter could help would be McCain (fat chance that he’d endorse McCain) or Romney.
So, now we wait to see if Fred Thompson will endorse anybody.
