After doing a couple of incredibly stupid things in the past 2 hours, I feel that I should pass this along to anybody who reads this blog: trust doesn’t come easy, and the worst feeling in the world is when trust is lost, both for the person who is no longer trustworthy, and for the person who is no longer trusting. Trust takes months and years to build up, but can be broken down in seconds, and I hope all of you out there reading this will take this message to heart, and truly think before you speak. What may come off as a joke to you, isn’t to somebody else – it’s hurtful, mean, and cruel. Secrets are meant to be kept, so just keep them, no questions asked – and don’t lie to somebody’s face, no matter how insignificant the lie is.
Above all, just be a good friend, and you won’t have this problem.
