2012: The Year that the Grab for 1st in Line in the Primaries is Over?

Currently, Congress is discussing legislation that would split the U.S. into 4 regions (Iowa and New Hampshire excluded) for the primaries.

New Hampshire and Iowa would still go first, then the 4 regions would be on a cycle each election year.

The Constitutionality of this would probably be challenged, but I for one support this idea (I actually would like ALL primaries / caucuses on the same date).

The fights for 1st in line are just getting annoying.

Certainly an interesting concept… but yeah, there’s that pesky constitutional issue.
