The following is a video of Barack Obama giving a speech in Raleigh, NC, criticizing Wednesday night’s ABC Democratic Presidential Primary debate (I have been unable to find a transcript of the speech. If anybody has a copy – send it my way):
Senator Clinton responded today, saying on a morning news show, “Being asked tough questions in a debate is nothing like the pressures you face inside the White House. In fact, when the going gets tough, you just can’t walk away because we’re going to have some very tough decisions that we have to make. I think we need a president who can take whatever comes your way.” Here’s a video of that interview:
Clinton earlier today also said, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen,” directing the comment to Senator Obama:
BUT, it appears as if Senator Clinton HAS in fact complained about the debates in the past. In this video here (about halfway through), we see Clinton complaining about always getting asked the first question:
So, the infighting continues. I do have to say, the debate was poorly moderated, but the fact that they’re fighting about that shows that they are never going to be able to reconcile the party.
